Standard Requirements

Under the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam, applicants must meet the following standard conditions. The e-Visa is valid for up to 90 days with single or multiple entries and is available to citizens of all countries and territories through designated ports of entry.
Passport
Valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended entry date, with a minimum of 2 blank pages.
Passport photos
Two recent 4×6 cm photos, white background, full face, no headwear or tinted glasses.
Application form
Completed visa application form (NA1) or the online e-Visa declaration with accurate personal data.
Entry approval
E-Visa printout, or a visa approval letter for visa-on-arrival issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department.
Accommodation proof
Confirmed address of stay in Vietnam; temporary residence must be declared to local police within 12–24 hours of arrival.
Onward travel
Return or onward ticket consistent with your visa duration (e-Visa: up to 90 days, single or multiple entry).
Financial means
Evidence of sufficient funds for the duration of stay.
Fees
Government visa fee (e.g. USD 25 single-entry e-Visa) plus any applicable service charges.
